ワーナーブラザースジャパンは、ロード・オブ・ザ・リング3作品の4K Ultra HD Blu-ray&リマスターBlu-rayセット「ロード・オブ・ザ・リングトリロジー・フィルムコレクション」と、ホビット3作品のUHD BD&BDセット「ホビットトリロジー・フィルムコレクション」を、6月3日に発売する。価格は、ロード・オブ・ザ・リングトリロジーが34,800円、ホビットトリロジーが24,800円。

昨年12月に発売された「中つ国 (ロード・オブ・ザ・リング/ホビット)アルティメット・コレクターズ・エディション」から、各トリロジー作品を分割したもので、本編ディスク内容は同じ。コレクターズ・エディションの封入特典や特典ディスクは含まれない。

ロード・オブ・ザ・リングトリロジーは、「ロード・オブ・ザ・リング」と「ロード・オブ・ザ・リング/二つの塔」、「ロード・オブ・ザ・リング/王の帰還」の3作品を、UHD BDとHDデジタルリマスターのBlu-rayで収録した全18枚組。初回限定生産特典として、作品ごとに収納されたオリジナルケース&豪華BOX仕様となる。
